Thomas Van Sluytman

As a native Virgin Islander from the Island of St. Thomas, Thomas Van Sluytman joins us after working at the highest levels of the Virgin Islands Government over the past decade, serving in key roles at both the Office of the Governor, Government House (Executive Branch of Government) and the Office of the Senate President (Legislative Branch of Government).

Along with maintaining an interest in data management, computer science, and accounting, he is also a Board Member of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ American Cancer Society as well as a member of the St. Thomas Federal Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee.

Prior to his entering public service, Thomas worked at a retail energy marketing firm, where he served as a commodities market analyst with concentrations in both the natural gas and electricity sectors. Prior to his tenure at the retail energy firm, he worked as a portfolio manager at a financial firm.
