Ric Walters

An energy, maritime, transportation and petrochemical specialist, Ric is an expert in the Maritime Transportation Security Act, Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards and Department of Transportation Security regulations.

Ric oversees our annual security drill and exercise programs for facility and vessel clients, conducting security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations, and recommends measures to reduce the risk of non-compliance.

A former Special Agent, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Ric has 24 years of military service. He is also an experienced paramedic, worked in municipal law enforcement, and spent 12 years as Disaster Response Coordinator for the regional judicatory of the United Methodist Church. He is a Certified Homeland Protection Professional (CHPP), Certified Company/Vessel Security Officer course instructor with MARAD and Certified ICS/NIMS Instructor.
