Get in touchErin is a Grants and Policy Director with expertise in translating complex legislative requirements into easy-to-operationalize guidance. She has more than 20 years of experience leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams in the implementation of new Federal grant programs. Erin excels at developing impactful Federal program strategies and plans, writing regulations and grant policy, and ensuring grantee and subrecipient compliance. She is currently focused on developing policies for the Federal Communications Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program and finalizing more than $70 million in grants to community organizations and local government agencies.
Prior to joining Witt O’Brien’s, Erin was Senior Policy Advisor at the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture where she guided the agency’s annual expenditure of more than $1 billion in extramural Federal grants. While with the USDA she also directed the work of the agency’s Oversight Division, which is responsible for responding to audits, enhancing internal controls, and performing grantee site visits. She has extensive experience conducting outreach with state, local, and Tribal partners to increase the effectiveness of grant programs.
Erin holds a MA in Political Science from American University
